What this is

End the Streak is independent commentary about college football, written by one private individual. "We" is an editorial habit; there's no group or membership. It's one person's opinion, backed by sourced facts, about how fans might spend their own time and money. No team, school, sponsor, or rival is behind it. It carries no ads and sells nothing. It takes no donations. You don't need to give a name or email to read it, and there's no signup.

What this isn't

This isn't an official site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the University of Nebraska, the Board of Regents, Nebraska Athletics, the Husker Athletic Fund, the Big Ten Conference, or any school, media outlet, or person mentioned. If you came here looking for tickets or the university, you want the official athletics site, which isn't this one.

Names of schools, teams, people, and programs belong to their owners and appear only to identify the subject of our commentary. We use no logos, mascots, photos, or game footage from them. Short quotations are used for commentary and are attributed and linked.

That includes Runza, a trademark of its owner, which has nothing to do with this site, endorses none of it, and is mentioned only because no joke about Nebraska concessions is complete without it. If Runza would rather sit this one out, write to us, and we'll change it to "a regional meat-and-cabbage concoction" with no hard feelings. Your product will be fine. It's been more consistent than the offense.

Facts and opinions

A numbered source marks reporting we rely on, so check it yourself. Arguments, jokes, and conclusions are our opinion, and we try to make it obvious which is which. We don't allege that anyone broke a rule or a law. Where we note how the streak is counted, we're describing reporting and asking for more information, and nothing else.

Nothing here is legal, financial, or ticketing advice. Check your own ticket terms and commitments. We ask you to keep them.

Corrections and complaints

If something here is wrong, write to corrections@endthestreak.com with the specific statement and the correct information. We review messages and fix errors promptly, with a note below. That goes for the university, its lawyers, and the guy at the end of your row.

Privacy

We add no cookies, analytics, trackers, ad networks, or forms to this site. Its fonts are served from this site, not a third party. Our web host and network providers may keep server logs, including IP addresses, and may show us aggregate traffic counts. They may also apply security features of their own, which we don't control. If you email us, we receive your address and message, and we keep them only as long as needed to respond. "Copy it" works entirely in your browser.
